For the longest time, when I would use google maps to check on our land, all I could see was the houses that used to be there. Thanks to google’s “Follow your world” option – which notifies you when they have updated images – we can now see the new subdivision!

The image is still an old one, none of the newer houses are there yet (google says their newest images are always about 1 year old, so that explains that), but at least you can see the new street now and the old buildings are gone.

I decided to put our land plan on top of the new image and it really kind of gives you a better feel of where our house and yard will be (our house is going to be a little bit bigger, but only slightly – a couple of cm – so it doesn’t really matter).

The blue house you can see up top is ours. Enjoy!
