Our sidewalk got lowered today.
It used to be very high and we would have been unable to  drive into our garage.
The irony is that we don’t have a garage yet. Actually we don’t even have a house yet. But because the neighbors did it now it was a lot cheaper for us to do it at the same time. It still came down do 1.500 Euros *yikes*. I kind of wish they would have waited till people build their houses, they literally just build the sidewalk this year! Very annoying, but had to be done. And the kids had a blast watching the big machines 😉

Also, here’s a little warning for you: If you are building a house… and that house has a toy room… for 3 kids… and you want to organize their toys in that toy room… in individual boxes… so everything looks nice, cleaned up and in order….. you might end up spending a lot of money at IKEA…. – and people WILL stare at you (and even ask questions!). 44 boxes! I think we have too many toys 😉
